MtronPTI Introduces Band Pass and Notch Cavity Filters for LTE and Public Safety Systems
Orlando, Florida – April 13, 2010- MtronPTI, a leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of Frequency Control and Filter Products, announced two new products targeted at the LTE (Long Term Evolution) and Public Safety markets. These products were specifically developed to support applications in the 700-800 MHz Frequency Spectrum.
Model UF9192 is a diplexer with pass band frequencies of 769.15 to 770 MHz and 799.15 to 800 MHz. In order to maintain these tight pass bands, MtronPTI has employed a high Q design incorporating a mixed mode topology of dielectric and metal resonators. Both types of resonator were temperature-compensated synchronously to provide a total frequency shift of less than 150 kHz over the entire operating temperature range of -20 to 60C. The mixed mode design also features a large spurious free operating range.
The UF9193 is a notch filter with 40 dB of rejection at 769.15 to 770 MHz and 799.15 to 800 MHz bands. MtronPTI employed a high Q design with temperature compensation on the notch filter. Both products weigh about two thirds of the typical cavity filters currently available in the market today.
