Filter Technician - Orlando

The technician will be tuning and testing filters in a production environment. In addition they will work with engineering to test and troubleshoot filter products during early transition stage to production, operate RF/Microwave test equipment including network and spectrum analyzers, and configure test equipment according to test specifications. In addition, we prefer they have the ability to tune and test filter products for Hi-Rel (military) and/or aerospace applications, setup and operate equipment for high power and/or vibration test, and tune and test integrated filter products.
Qualifications include: Minimum of 2 years experience tuning and testing RF/Microwave cavity and lumped element (LC) filters. Knowledge of filter products with complex topology such as cross coupling. Fundamental mechanical knowledge of fasteners, solder, adhesives, and encapsulants (potting materials). Good hand eye coordination with experience using hand tools to manipulate delicate components.



RF Microwave Filter Engineer - Orlando

We have an opening for an RF Microwave Filter Engineer to play a significant role in establishing the infrastructure and design standards necessary for new products.

Responsibilities include:
- Developing higher-level integrated microwave and RF devices such as switched filters, tunable filters and frequency conversion products.
- Interfacing with customers requiring these new technologies and also suppliers for the development of components for these products.

Requirements include:
* A detailed knowledge of RF and Microwave filter synthesis with experience in lumped element and distributed element forms is desirable.
* Knowledge of cavity and dielectric resonator filters used in telecommunications or military and avionics equipment is desirable.
* Strong background in CAD using electromagnetic analysis.
* Good communication skills and ability to work well with others to perform a wide variety of tasks in a fast paced engineering/production environment.
* Five years experience in filters and integrated microwave products.
* Minimum BSEE required.
* Must be permanent resident or citizen of the United States due to requirements of military contracts.


Sr Process Engineer - Orlando

Responsibilities include:

- Provide Manufacturing/ Process Engineering support to Operations to achieve business objectives, support new product introduction and product design changes to allow accelerated business growth.
- Establish a leadership role in continuous process improvements of quality, yield and productivity utilizing statistically valid analysis techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with proven experience in statistically based problem solving methodologies. Advanced six-sigma certification desirable. A 4-year technical degree, with Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and a solid technical foundation are a must.


Product Design Engineer - Yankton

- Develop products for systems in the area of precision, low noise frequency control devices, primarily crystal oscillators, from 10 MHz to greater than 1 GHz. The primary markets for these products are Telecommunications and Military.
- Conceptualize and verify designs using analytical skills, simulation, and experimental resources.
- Lead and plan product design projects, assess designs for manufacturability, cost, quality, and reliability, produce manufacturing documentation, and manage the performance evolution of products.
- Design new product related test systems, and implement them into production.
- Gain a thorough knowledge of production processes and provide sustaining engineering for products already in production.

We are looking for an individual with a strong interest in RF analog and digital circuit design. Knowledge of Visual Basic, GPIB programming of test equipment and microcontrollers, is a plus. Knowledge of RF circuit design, high frequency digital circuits, and signal integrity is a plus.
Minimum of BSEE required.
